Available in your choice of Gray or Beige, this Guardianite brand 2 Drawer File Locking Bar offers solid construction and durable design to help PROTECT YOUR IMPORTANT PAPERS AND MEET PRIVACY REGULATIONS.

Constructed of 16-gauge steel with a durable gray or beige powder coat finish, the installation process takes approximately 5 minutes. The bar mounts to the 1/2" frame around your metal file cabinet and is reversible for left or right side mounting (screws included).

A cobalt drill bit is included, eliminating the need to search for the right size for drilling through hard metals. When unlocked, the bar is held in the open position by a spring-loaded hinge, ensuring it won't interfere with opening or closing your file drawers. At the end of the day, simply close the bar, lower the handle, and insert a padlock (not included) to lock your files securely.

This locking bar is an excellent way to secure your files in accordance with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and PCI regulations, whether you're a big company, a small company, or just need to secure your files at home from prying eyes. The Guardianite 2 Drawer Locking Bar is 22.5" long, so be sure to measure the height of your filing cabinet to confirm the size needed. The bar must be slightly shorter than your filing cabinet and must cover a portion of the top and bottom drawer to function properly.

This item requires the use of a padlock, which is not included. We recommend the use of any padlock with a shackle diameter of 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch.
